J.Cole has fulfilled his contract with the Basketball Africa League and has unexpectedly left the Rwanda Patriots.
Jermaine Cole’s 3 to 6-game obligation was shorten as the rapper left the country to return to the states for a “family obligation”, reports Senior NBA writer Marc J. Spears.
During his time with the Patriots, the 36-year-old tallied five points with three assists and five rebounds in three games. The team was 2-1 with Cole.
Earlier this month, J.Cole signed with the team and made his debut days before releasing his sixth studio album, The Off-Season. It is currently No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts, his sixth consecutive chart-topping debut.
