Sharkorama is the solo vehicle of Chicago based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Cody Knauer, and brings anything-goes energy and Midwestern swagger to a nostalgic sound that falls somewhere beneath the indie-rock umbrella. Cody says that “Sharkorama is all about joyous, nostalgic jams and introspective, lyric-forward folk tunes that don’t take themselves too seriously”, and this sentiment is fully reflected in his first album “Abstractions”, which was released in 2015 (stream HERE).
Fast forward six years and Sharkorama has unveiled his follow up album entitled, “Wicked Machine”, which was solely written, performed and produced by Cody. “Wicked Machine” includes 12 tracks, and is a joyous racket ranging from folk-pop to garage-rock with some heavy 90s influences.
We’re stoked to share this incredible project with you, so listen to “Wicked Machine” now, stream it on Bandcamp, and connect with Sharkorama on his website and social media. Also, be on the lookout for our exclusive interview with Sharkorama and our in-depth review of “Wicked Machine” coming soon.
